Time running out for first time buyers at Eden Square

First time buyers looking to get on the property ladder in Urmston, have a final chance to take advantage of the Government backed HomeBuy Direct initiative at Eden Square located in Urmston town centre.  Ask Life have secured a HomeBuy Direct grant under a scheme delivered by the Homes and Communities Agency, which will come to an end this September.

Subject to meeting the criteria, the scheme allows first time buyers to purchase apartments at Eden Square from as little as £70,000 with no deposit.

There are very limited opportunities in Urmston for first time buyers to access the property market which has made the HomeBuy Direct scheme a popular choice at Eden Square.  Six apartments have been sold under the scheme leaving just four plots available for sale.  However, potential purchasers must hurry and register their interest in the luxury apartments as time is running out.

The square offers modern apartment living in the heart of Urmston's retail quarter, with excellent transport links to Manchester and Liverpool and within enviable proximity to MediaCityUK.

The scheme's 64 luxury designed apartments, with high specification bathrooms and kitchens, have proved extremely popular with a mix of purchasers ranging from Urmston couples who have downsized to singletons and a good number of first time buyers.

Ask Life's Head of Sales, Franca Carbone said: "There's been a real buzz about the square recently and the HomeBuy Direct scheme is a fantastic opportunity if you want to get a foot on the property ladder but can't afford to buy a home outright.

"Prospective buyers have until September to purchase one of Eden Square's highly desirable apartments on the hassle-free HBD scheme.  Before the summer is out you could be relaxing over coffee with your neighbours in the square."

The new public square has become the focal point for shoppers and visitors alike and a series of summertime events to be announced shortly will further enhance the community aspects of Eden Square which is easily accessible, has a shoppers' car park and taxi rank and is served by good public transport links.

In addition to Sainsbury's, Boots, Costa Coffee, Greggs, Hallmark, Thorntons and HD Studio are now open for business in the square with further retailers expected to sign up over the coming months.
