Ask Life received planning approval for its Compstall Mill development on 25 September 2009.
Planning permission was received for the redevelopment of Compstall Mill into 121 residential units (including apartments and family houses) and 25,000 sq ft of high quality commercial space. The scheme has been designed by RIBA Sterling Prize winners Feilden Clegg Bradley and will include hydro electric power generated from the River Etherow.
