Ask Life received planning approval for its Compstall Mill development on 25 September 2009.
The planning permission received was for the redevelopment of Compstall Mill into 121 residential units (including apartments and family houses) and 25,000 sq ft of high quality commercial space. The scheme has been designed by RIBA Sterling Prize winners Feilden Clegg Bradley and will include hydro electric power generated from the River Etherow.
Set along side Etherow Country Park, Stockport's largest tourist attraction, the development will provide luxury refurbished 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments along with new build duplexes and family homes.
Most properties will feature balconies and in some instances roof terraces or gardens which will benefit from stunning views of the Reservoir and River.
